If, in our reasonable opinion, you do not meet the prerequisite level for the session you booked, we may refuse participation or end the session early for safety. In that case, no refund is due.
7) Right of refusal and behaviour
We may refuse participation or end a session if, in our reasonable opinion, you:

We may need to cancel or amend a session due to staffing, safety, Venue operations, or other reasons.
If we cancel/amend, we will offer the following options:

3. Cancel and receive a full refund of amounts paid to us for the session
12) Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations due to events outside our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, Venue closure, power failure, transport disruption, industrial action, or other emergencies).
If a force majeure event makes the session not viable, we may postpone or cancel. Where we cancel, we will offer either rescheduling/credit or a refund as set out in section 11.2.
13) Venue rules and third-party services
The Venue is operated by a third party. You must comply with all Venue rules, including safety requirements and any instructions from Venue staff.
We are not responsible for third-party products/services you purchase separately (e.g., lift passes, rentals, lockers).
14) Personal belongings
You are responsible for your personal belongings. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

We may film/photograph during sessions for:
- Coaching feedback (e.g., video analysis)

By attending, you grant us permission to use photos/video of you for these purposes unless you opt out in writing before the session.
For under-18s, the parent/guardian provides consent unless they opt out in writing.
17) Complaints
If you have a complaint, please tell us as soon as possible, ideally during the session/day so we can try to resolve it promptly.
18) Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
You acknowledge that snowboarding involves inherent risks. Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses arising from risks inherent to the sport, or from your failure to follow instructions, meet prerequisites, or comply with Venue rules.
19) Data protection
We will process personal data in line with applicable UK data protection law. You can view our Privacy Policy here.
20) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

When you love snowboarding as much as Chris does, you want others to experience that same joy and progression. That's what inspired him to create Simply Snowboarding.
After more than a decade on the slopes (since 2014), including three full winter seasons in the mountains, He's learnt that the path to better riding isn't about mysterious techniques or complicated instructions - it's about breaking down barriers and making progression accessible to everyone.
As a BASI Level 3 ISIA qualified instructor, Chris has developed a deep understanding of how people learn and progress.
His approach is refreshingly straightforward:
Simple. Fun. Stress-free.
Chris has seen too many riders get stuck when they hear vague instructions like "just do this" without understanding the 'what,' 'why,' and 'how.'
That's why Chris focuses on:
Breaking down complex techniques into digestible steps
Creating a supportive, judgment-free environment
Providing clear, actionable guidance
Allowing time for practice and consolidation
Using video analysis for visual learning and progress tracking
When he's not on the snow, you'll find Chris maintaining his fitness through running and strength work at the gym.
