FLATLAND FOUNDATIONS

BUILD BOARD CONTROL, STYLE & CONFIDENCE

Flatland is where freestyle starts. It’s the skill of moving your board on purpose: shifting pressure, controlling edges, and staying balanced while you press, spin, and link simple combos. It looks good, but more importantly it makes your riding feel calmer, cleaner, and more in control.

WHO'S IT FOR?

This session is for riders who are new to flatland or intermediate riders who want to add style and consistency and it’s also the perfect stepping stone into Park Foundations.

WHAT YOU'LL GET FROM THIS SESSION

In 2 hours, we focus on the fundamentals that make flatland work so you’re not just “trying tricks”, you’re building skills you can repeat.

What we’ll cover:

  • Press fundamentals (stable body position + pressure control)

  • 180s and 360s (timing, rotation, and landing control)

  • Basic combos (linking movements without losing flow)

  • Switch confidence and board handling that improves overall riding
