Simply Snowboarding is built on one belief: progress feels best when it makes sense.
Not louder coaching. Not random tips. Not copying someone else’s riding. Real improvement comes from understanding what you’re doing, why it works, and how to repeat it until it becomes natural.
Whether you ride with me privately or in an open group session, the philosophy stays the same: clear structure, simple explanations, and coaching that meets you where you are while still moving you forward.
A lot of snowboard coaching sounds right, but stays vague: “get lower”, “commit”, “use your edges”. You can try harder and still feel stuck, because you haven’t been shown the real cause of the problem.
Our coaching simplifies things into something you can use:
What to change (the key movement or habit)
Why it matters (what it changes in your board performance)
How to practise it (simple cues and focused exercises)
This is how riders stop guessing and start improving on purpose.

If you’ve ever felt intimidated in lessons, you’re not alone. Many riders can link turns, but don’t feel in control, especially when speed increases, terrain changes, or something goes wrong.
Confidence doesn’t come from being told to “send it”. It comes from having a clear plan, understanding the movement, and feeling the difference when it works. Coaching should feel supportive, not stressful, while still being honest about what will help you progress.
Performance coaching isn’t just for “experts”. It’s for riders who want their snowboarding to feel cleaner, more controlled, and more consistent.
That might mean carving with more grip, changing edges earlier, improving turn shape, riding steeper slopes with composure, or building flow at higher speeds. The standard is the same: strong foundations, clear technique, and skills you can repeat, not a one-off good run.
Everyone learns differently. Some riders need time to consolidate. Others want to be challenged. Some learn best by seeing it, others by feeling it.
Our job is to coach the rider in front of me with a calm approach, clear communication, and a structure that makes progress feel achievable. No judgement. No confusion. No wasted time.
The goal isn’t to ride like your coach. It’s to understand your riding well enough that you can improve anywhere, indoor snow, the mountains, steeper terrain, faster riding, and new challenges.
When you understand the what, why and how, you build skills that last. And once the foundations are solid, your own style has room to show up.
Choose from either private coaching or group coaching. Both options are built on the same Simply Snowboarding philosophy: clear structure, simple explanations, and coaching that helps you understand the what, why and how, so your progress lasts.
The difference is the format, not the quality.
Private Coaching
Private coaching is is fully tailored to you. We focus on your goals, your riding, and the changes that will make the biggest difference. It’s the best option if you want maximum attention and fast, focused progress.
These sessions are for one person, with the option of adding 3 additional riders.
Group Coaching
Group sessions combine expert coaching with a fun, motivating atmosphere. Each session is built around a shared theme to keep everything clear and smooth, while you still get personal feedback. It’s also a brilliant way to ride with others, meet like-minded snowboarders, and make new friends.
These sessions are for a maximum of 4 riders.
